This second part of the walking in the gospel series explores how our tendency to seek prominence, acceptance, and affirmation from people drives us to constantly compare ourselves to others. The root issue is our desire for praise and notoriety through our accomplishments, which Lewis argues would disappear if everyone became equally rich, clever, or good-looking since it's the comparison that creates pride.
