Jesus stands falsely accused and condemned by legal authorities who declare him innocent yet still surrender him to the mob's demands, transforming a legal proceeding into murder. Though this injustice appears as madness, it reveals the profound truth that Christ willingly took upon himself the punishment we deserved for our sins. His substitutionary sacrifice demonstrates both God's righteous judgment of sin and his desire for eternal relationship with humanity.
