Christians are engaged in an ongoing spiritual war against an invisible enemy who seeks to destroy them through attacks on their affections, desires, and worship. This reality requires believers to adopt a "wartime lifestyle" - an intentionally altered way of conducting life that recognizes the battle conditions they face. While this spiritual warfare is often imperceptible, those who remain alert can recognize its signs everywhere in their daily experience.
