Graphic Design
Graphic design is another hobby of mine. It is something I have NO formal training in. I have been told I have a small amount of “knack” for drawing (good old fashioned pencil and paper). But it’s not something I spend a lot of time on.
It is definitely my weak point as a Web developer, and therefore is something I focus on a little more when doing things in my spare time. Which is sort of ironic, because when it came to the recent redesign of mattandnancy.org and the design of this site, I didn’t spend a lot of time on it. I’m thinking that I do better when I don’t try quite as hard. I think I have been making some progress in this area however.
Here are some recent examples of stuff I’m pretty proud of (besides my two personal sites).
Tips and comments are welcome. Several people have said I need to work on my use of white space.
