Why TextMate Is So Awesome

I’m finally getting used to Textmate as my text editor of choice for OS X. And I’m starting to realize why it is so awesome. I think it the reason it is so amazing is typified by this amazing little detail:

New Icon For Halloween

Seriously, who puts out a new icon just for Halloween?

While I was at it, I captured the rest of my dock just for fun.

    What features of TextMate to you like so much? I often hear about it but I’ve never had a compelling reason to use it.
