Presentation

I presented on good Web site design practices today at Webster City Middle School. The presentation was very rudimentary, but covered some foundational elements. It was also a lot of fun. Apparently it went over pretty well with the kids too :).

You know, for some reason, I just now see the irony in presenting on aspects of good Web design to 7th and 8th graders. There were exactly two guys who actually found the presentation interesting, and asked good questions (e.g. “How do you get your site to be in the top 5 on google?”). But you know, if those two guys were interested, then my trip was well worth it.
