• Fever° Red hot. – The next wonderful self-hosted Web app from Shaun Inman. Expands well on the concept of a feed reader. Acts like a "passive, automatic Digg" for your feeds. Stories that are linked by other feeds you subscribe to bubble to the surface automatically so you can know what the community you tune into thinks is hot. Very awesome concept. Very well designed.

• How to Be a Financial Stud – Excellent Excellent. "After graduation and well into your career, the next studly phase of your life begins. At this point in your life, women don’t care how much you “could” bench press, the fact that you did 21 shots in one night (and lived to tell about it), or that you almost won the state championship in 2004. They want a man who has control of their finances and has a plan in place. They want a financial stud."

• Ustream’s Audience For Apple’s iPhone Announcement: Bigger Than Cable News – 500,000 people tuned in for Apple's keynote. That's a HUGE audience. I was definitely one of them. The live video feed, combined with high-rez pics and commentary from the Engadget liveblog made for a really compelling experience.

I have three different business cards for different hats I wear. They were all created over 2 years ago. Since then, my contact info has changed several times. IM names and e-mail addresses have remained the same but phone numbers have changed as I jumped from carrier to carrier and phone to phone.

What should go on a modern business card? We have many different pieces of info that all make sense to include

• Phone number (cell, business, home, fax)
• E-mail address (or 4)
• IM user names (for 8 different services)
• twitter profile
• 100 different social networking site profiles
• Emurse resume
• Personal Web site
• Business Web Site

I suggest you have a “personal professional” Web site (like mattheerema.com) to manage your online presence. Simply reference this single Web site, and link off to all the (ever changing) contact and profile information from there.

• Managing Werewolves – Great article on A List Apart about navigating the tricky political waters in an office situation and how to deal with people that would as soon eat you as look at you to get ahead in their careers. Don't hate the player, hate the game.
• Hero Worship and Holy Emulation – It can seem like a non sequiter that people make celebrities out of Christian pastors, men who claim to be wretched sinners, saved by grace. It is an odd phenomenon in Christian circles that some pastors have risen to a level of fame where people want photos and autographs. John Piper brings a little perspective to the situation in this article.
